Hotel Byron

It was our first time in Forte dei Marmi. Byron is a modern hotel with the Italian luxury service. The staff is amazing. The hotel is for people that appreciate art and a low profile luxury. That said…the staff went beyond for me. I got sick there, they had an excellent doctor the came to my room in 20 minutes. If I ever go back to Forte dei Marmi, it will be my place to stay. Thank Simone and his team for all.

If you want to experience a real FDM hotel Byron is the definitely the place to stay. A perfect mix between tradition and innovation. You can experience a real Villa life style in Forte dei Marmi, in the peaceful and elegant garden either around the pool or enjoying a perfect cocktail. My self and my family have had beautiful room in the newly section, superb furniture, reminding of luxury Italian yacht interiors, a large private terrace facing sea view. I have a Tesla which was comfortably parked inside Byron private garage where I could also re-charge it. There are more charging stations in Byron than in the entire FDM. We have had a nice dinner at Onda restaurant just in front of swimming pool. Very authentic sea food menu and a vast wine list. Service has always been up to the mark and we have enjoyed a real nice evening. Breakfast is served on main veranda, well curated and all food displayed in a stylish manner. Byron staff is always ready to assist starting from director who has always be present during our staying. For those who likes art, all over property there are several piece of arts which are well integrated with furniture and contributes to give an additional Charme and style to this beautiful property. Last but not least Byron position is so well located that you can reach both downtown FDM and any beach clubs either walking or by bike provided by hotel itself. Looking forward to come back soon

Definitely the worst 5-star you can possibly find in Forte, or the world for that matter - at 1000+euro per night. No coffee/tea amenities in the room. No water next to the bed table. Toilet flushing is bad. The phone in the room is not working - I need to walk to reception with any request because the cell line is not working here either. Some suits do not have a working AC The management is a joke. Asked me to change room during my stay for no reason. Receptionist charged my card 5100 euros before arrival by mistake (the booking had been already paid) The GM suggested a dinner from Magnolia to make up for it, restaurant- when I asked about it, they didn’t know anything and simply didn’t come back either. The GM has not returned with any reply. All in all - the provincial Forte attitude at its worst - we don’t care if you’re unhappy, others will come in your place. Stayed here for 8 days and can commit as the Hyatt globalist, that was THE worst investment of my money and loyalty.

The place its beautiful, the pool and the rooms are very very nice. The problem is the attention and the cleaning in the rooms. The rooms are always dirty. And we have to remind they to go and make the room. They don’t “clean it” they don’t clean the toilet. Or the table, or they don’t even put toiler t paper, shampoo just one time and then forget to do the refill. The food not so good also, and the service in general so so. Not a 5 star hotel. No one really helps you nor the concierge or general staff. Almost nobody in the hotel understands english correctly so it’s dificult to comunicate. I really hope they do better and have better staff and cleaning. Many guests have the same problems as us. If they do fix this. Its a beautiful hotel.
